Ratika Kapur worked in publishing and multimedia before cutting loose to write full-time. Her first novel, Overwinter, which was longlisted for the 2009 Man Asian Literary Prize, is published in hardcover by Hachette India. She lives in New Delhi with her husband and son, and is currently working on her second novel.
